I will be there for the first time fishing from the damn on Sunday and Monday. I will be throwing topwater for stripers. Might go after trout too. Does the dam produce fish?

Thanks

hello. I haven't tried throwing topwater for stripers before.... I have caught trout there before after they plant... but other than that... I usually walk about 3/4 across the dam and just bait/wait for stripers usually with my dad/Mrs.

What is your set up and bait for stripers?

The dam produces pretty well but you should probably go with the striper's plan. If there's a trout plant throwing trout swimbaits could produce some nice ones. If you see shad schools or striper boils, topwater could be good. But like dkinla said, he caught some recently practicing bait and wait. that might be a good way to go.
