Shimano Torium 16 and Rod

Hey guys I just bought a Torium 16, and need to pair it up with a new rod. I want to use it to throw irons and possibly even for live bait. What rod would you recommend? I'm not to familiar with the Calstar, Seeker, and Phenix family.

Calstar or seeker 8ft 270 or 270-h 25lb sticks perfect for both to start with that torium

Calstar 700h for heavy yoyo irons. the calstar 700m is a great bait stick. Slayed many yellowtail and some wahoo with a 700h w. An older Torium 20. Did you get the new Torium 16 hg or the older model. I just ordered a 16 hg...can't wait. If you got the older model torium 16, I'd suggest a rod w. A reel seat because the stock clamp is pretty small.

Yup, a 270-8H and you can toss either irons or baits. Killer 20-lb. stick.

i have the same reel picked up the phenix 808h to go with it. Its been a solid setup for me.
