IRS taxes !!!

First time in my life that I ever had to pay at the end of the year, never did when I worked. Been retired for over six years now and paid monthly in to my two retirement plans for about forty years. Just started getting SS checks this last year, guess I bring home to much of my own money that was put away, now they want some back. :EyePop:

What I had to pay Mike, no tax return this year I owed $$$. And yes it was from SS because I have another retirement income.

I am self employed and sick and tired of all these #^** taxes I pay.

Just finished my returns and bummed I still owe 6000 after paying all my estimated
Quarterly taxes last year!

I wish I can ignore it but I don't want someone up my arse. Haha

I say... Go fishing! Always seems to help make me feel better.

I feel the same. Wife and I both claim 0 all year. Bought a house early last year. IRA and 401K and a bunch of other pre tax junk. Have 2 beautiful kids one in daycare. Do everything right and everything possible, and still end up owing. UNREAL!!!
