Redondo Yakkin' 3/7/15

[Ifishtoolittle]

First off, I'm really sore! lol. Ghettobasster and I did a little kayaking around KH yesterday for a mixed bag of Halfmoon perch, senorita fish, mini calicos, a chucklehead, and one pretty nice whitefish. All in all we had a fun day of fish action with the only sizable fish being the white fish that GB caught. The conditions were amazing with near lake like conditions on the outside of the breakwall.

Wow, what beautiful conditions. I'm still dialing in my Malibu Stealth 12 and looking forward to hitting the water soon.

Nice pics. If one of you has a FF you could have gone 1/8 of a mile out and fished the edge of the canyon. Bigger rockfish down the canyon wall.

Oh yeah. I was in awe when I saw how calm it was. It's so rare for me to see KH that calm. BTW, how are you liking your stealth 12? I'm thinking to upgrade to that, but the width will sacrifice quite a bit of speed for balance.

Thanks DR. I was thinking about the canyon the whole time. I do have a FF, but it's crap. Plus, I'm not willing to set one up on my kayak right now since I plan to upgrade to a more sea worthy vessel.

Thanks Tony! It was fun even though the fish size was lacking. It's a shame that you can't tube KH. There's good sized bass in there.

Oh man, that looks like fun.
I wish I can grow some and give it a try one day.
Not knowing how to swim and being on a kayak just doesnt work. :LOL:
