Carolina rig with gulp sand worm

Finally, after almost 2 months I got the opportunity to hit the surf. With the surf conditions and work schedule its been near impossible to hit my local spot.

Slow day of fishing! after talking to a few other anglers this seems to be the pattern for this area for the last few weeks with not even the perch showing.

Fish count: 1 dink perch and 1 14-15 inch corbina :Big Grin:

sorry no fish porn, 2nd time out with the go pro and I didn't have the camera on when I "took" the picture :ROFL:

Thank you Don. That bean was just my 2nd one ever in so cal waters, I've had a few other beans hooked but just couldn't land on 2 lb test. Let's hope things pick up in the surf!

A perch and a bean is a whole lot better than being at home, I'll take that anyday! haha
