Sup pontubers! Just wondering if anyone here is planning on hitting up the opener. I will be there with a buddy on the 20th. Post up if you plan to go.

Their wives and girlfriends wont let them fish as much as they would like.

im not a 'tooner, but a t00ber, and i might be there saturday...dunno if ill be tubing it though. it will save me some of the crowd from the shore though...

ya pontubers and tooners will be slayin at the goon!!! you guys should go the the lagoon bash its going to be sweet! and theres trout in the goon as well....

Are they putting 20 lb. Rainbows, Steelheads, Brookies, and German Browns in the Upper and Lower?
I can't call her the Goon, she deserves more respect than that.

I agree with Cap'n Ron. It will always be the "Lower" to me.
I'll either be fishing the "Vine", or Perhaps the Spitfire again, if I'm lucky.

Sorry bro, I haven't really put much time on the shore at Irvine. So I'm useless there. But 5:00 is too early for me. I guess we'll have to settle for being in the back of the line at 6:00.

Gates at Irvine Lake open at 6:00. Be there very early to get in line.
Fish the west shore or Trout Island. Best shore spots.
Visit the lake website. Lots of info.
