Striper Swimbait

What are some good soft plastic swimbaits for stripers and how do you fish them? I wanna give Pryamid a try with some plastics from the shore.

Fish the hud off the bottom?
Would 5inch BigHammers be any good?

fish it ON the bottom... not really sure haven't tried a 5 inch hammer... give a hudd 68 a shot rof 12 or 5

I use 4 inch hammers in white on 1/2 oz jigheads at Skinner with regular success.
