Hey guys, my first post is here! I went fishing in King Harbor yesterday with a few buddies. I arrived at 7:04 in the morning and was there until 7:43 at night! 12 hours. When I saw it was sunny I put on my sexy smelt 3 inch big hammer swimbait. That got a calico when it was sunny out. When the sun set, I switched to Halloween 3 inch. That's when the bite turned on. I got 2 sandies, 2 calicos, and 2 grasscod when the sun set. Total was 3 calicos, 2 sandies, and 2 grasscod. I was testing out the new lexa 300 I got on friday, it works great! Thanks guys and look for more! For some reason the calicos didn't up load.

12 hours.....OMG I remember those days. Nice report from KH.

I love my Lexa 300. High capacity reel with a great drag rating. Can't beat it for the money!

The 12 hour days are rough but definatly pay out in the end. The lexa is amazing they are so good for swimbait fishing. Thanks for the reply!

When I see a report for King harbor in Redondo Beach, I immediately think that someone started catching some Bonito, like the good old days. Man it used to be insane in that little harbor! The breakwall also used to be a very good place to throw jigs at night from a boat for some very nice Sand and Calico Bass.

Believe me fishmounter, all of us want some of that bonito. Thanks for the tip on the bass!

No steam, a little bubble action usually 1/10th of the bubble when the plant used to run.
I think it is just a recirculation action but no warm water coming out.
The plant ran very little last year, a couple days here and there.
