Caught this 15lb girl flipping a creature bait under the launch ramp docks Monday night, still can't believe that I hooked into this fish in 5ft of water in the dead of winter!

Nice Catch , I got one last Year from the docks in shallow water as well . maybe 3' .. Funny thing is not all the bass move out and if you get a few sunny days during the winter and the water warms up a little , you would be surprised how many bass are still roaming the shallows

Good for you and what a great looking lady. This spring she will have a bunch of babies for us to catch. My PB was at lake Isabella Ca 14 Pound's 13 Oz's and releasted instanly after we got her weight. Thanks for the report and picture.

You know Ryan, it wasn't too long ago that I latched into a monster underneath one of those docks during an evening fishing outing with my grandson. This fish struck my plastic bait, I struck back and the fight was on! It only lasted for maybe 20 seconds and whatever it was just came unbuttoned..the hook pulled out. I just kept telling myself it was just a big catfish or carp, but really.. it no doubt was a very big bass. My heavy rod bent double, taking out drag. Oh well.. Congrats on that really nice bass! Get a replica mount made for sure!
