Manning was just off his game and has been since the Rams game. Even if he does retire, which he really should, he's one of those players I will always be able to say I had the pleasure of watching one if not THE best ever. GO BRONCOS!!!

Manning had an undisclosed injury, it was obvious he hasn't been playing up to his par. To deny the fact he is one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game shows prejudice and not actual fact or if not showing prejudice shows a complete lack of understanding of his history or a complete lack of understanding of football altogether.

I'd rather be a Niner fan than a Broncos one. At least with Kapearnick the Niners have the potential to compete. Peyton is going to retire and the Broncos are going to be stuck without a quarterback. It was really superbowl or bust for both teams this year. That said, I think the Broncos and Niners are in for tough years next year. I think the Chiefs and Seahwaks are early favorites for their respective divisions next season.

Is it trolling if their predictions are somewhat correct, though?

The "trolling" moniker is being used a bit too broad in this case.

If he said the Niners would suck this year, and they did, how is that trolling? That's more "voice of reason" in my book, especially if their fan base had visions of grandeur in their sights.

01-13-2015, 04:09 PM
Both teams no superbowl this season so we are both sitting on the same boat
Niners have made it to 3 straight NFC championships including 1 superbowl appearance in the last 4 years and that's a pretty resume if you ask me but why bring that up right ??

For those of you wondering what makes Tomsula a prime head coaching candidate, below is his bio:

================================

By Cam Inman

JIM TOMSULA

Age: 46

High school: In the Pittsburgh suburbs, Tomsula was a gritty lineman for Steel Valley High (Munhall, Pennsylvania) in 1984, when the team went 10-0 and won the WPIAL Big Ten Conference championship.

College: After transferring from Middle Tennessee State, Tomsula was a defensive lineman at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, where he sustained a career-ending knee injury.

Did you know? Tomsula has co-hosted a football camp in Pittsburgh and in San Jose for youths with Down syndrome. Former 49ers coaches Steve Mariucci and Mike Singletary also have coached at the San Jose camp.

Coaching: Tomsula's coaching start came at his alma mater, Catawba College, in 1989 as the defensive line and strength coach. He spent the next season as a Woodland Hills (Pennsylvania) High assistant. After a two-year break selling medical equipment, he became a defensive assistant and strength coach at Charleston Southern University from 1992-95. Tomsula returned to Catawba as an assistant from 1997-2005, while also splitting time in NFL Europe (1998 England Monarchs, 1999-2003 Scottish Claymores, 2004-05 Berlin Thunder, 2006 Rhein Fire). In his head-coaching debut, he led the Rhein Fire to a 6-5 record and third-place finish. Tomsula became the 17th coach in 49ers history while winning the 2010 finale as the interim coach after Mike Singletary's dismissal.

==============================

The ownership seems to have gone out of their way to screw over the fan base.

For those who were pissing and moaning about Harbaugh, say hello to Singletary 2.0, you got exactly what you asked for.

Brilliant just brilliant, I bet Jim Harbaugh is laughing his arse off right now....
