Where's "candyman"?

Anyone know what happened to FNN member "candyman"? He and I traded a boat for a float tube, and I wanted to hear how the boat is working out. I have not seen any posts or threads by him in a couple years. Did I hear he joined the Marines?

Many have left for greener pastures guys. Many lost their jobs, their boats and now cannot afford to fish like they used to. The amount of guys at the lakes these days are a fraction of what showed up 7 years ago and before...

Yet the rich keep getting richer and the middle class keeps getting poorer. I think the president called that income inequality!!!! Yet when it was mentioned on this board that the president was going to make that a priority. The response here was laughter and distain!!!

I'm optimistic in the future that FNN will get much better with some new blood!!!!! Why do I think that??????? There was a big turnover in people the last couple of years. Many good people left and fish reports are a little on the slim side now. However, what also happened was a very seedee element left also!!!!!! I make a joke about it all the time, they starved to death for lack of victims!!!!! What we have left now is pretty hardcore. No one going to run these people out!!!! Most of them are pretty decent people and would welcome new blood with open arms!!!!!!

I disagree with "what's the point!!!!" I've made some pretty darn good fishing buddy's on here after they read, "one of my fish reports." I always say or imply that if you ever need any help catching a fish from some where I know about, "don't be afraid to ask." I have got dozens of pm's from people asking to be aimed in the right direction, after reading a fish report of mine. I take great pride and satisfaction in helping any one become a better fishermen!!!

I'm surprised more people don't post fake reports in order to feel like the Pied Piper of SoCal and get hoards of lemmings heading in one direction.

troutdog- Hey thanks man! Phyl fished Irvine Lake quite a bit and he was excited to get my old 12 foot aluminum boat (traded for his new Fishcat float tube) to use it there. I had that boat for many years and it has been all over California, in both lakes and harbors. Lots of fish were put in that boat, and I hope many more will be, or have been put in it by "Candyman!
