Skunk, Catch and Skunk Bako Report

Trying to squeeze as much fishing as possible before having to go back to work on Monday. Wasn't feeling so great Thursday morning, so I didn't make it out until mid-day. Not ideal and I was rewarded with a skunk.

Friday morning, up early and out in the 28 degree weather. Forgot about much fun it is to fish when it's below freezing. In addition to guides freezing up, I learned that baitcasters can make snow! Fished 4-5 hours, found them boiling at one spot with bait so thick, that as I was jigging, my line was popping Silversides out of the water. Managed 8 Stripers and one UGC. Several of the jail birds were decent 3.5 pounders.

Back out again this morning, but today sucked. Fished a good seven hours for nada.

I had a trip last week with all of my line guides and the levelwind freezing up with baitcaster snow like you had too.
