Started the year fishing

Got to the beach late at 11:00, wasn't a planed trip but had the itch . Went to a protected area , the last trip had waves 3'-5' . Flat water so started throwing the LC , got 3-4 short bites then hooked one . A 15" flattie , then my buddy caught a Bat ray on a LC . Caught 3 more pancakes and my buddy got 2 , my biggest was 18" . Tried to post pic's but it said" file too large" , the camera is set on 8 meg. so I might have to set it on 5 meg. Was a real nice day ,caught some fish ,had a good time , that's what it's all about .
