Carpinteria: The last week of 2014

Well I feel kind of lame trying to follow up Wingnut's last report, but he sure gave me a lot of goals to pursue in 2015!

Been trying something new in hopes of weaning myself off of the crack. Looks like I may be calling this one meth ;-)
Getting bit on almost every cast, and hooking more larger models. I haven't been taking many pics because I'm too busy fishing.
This is the only fish pic I've taken this week, 10+ and fat. I know it's not huge, but big for me, and he put up a great fight.

Also wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the great info and advice! I'm definitely addicted, and excited to get back into a hobby that I've loved since childhood. Looking forward to a lot of great fishing in 2015 and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in person.

No shame in following Wingnut with a great year ending post like this. That's a healthy slab you nailed there. Love the jacket...that saying fits a few of us.:Wink: Not sure I agree with the addicts' photos...I kinda look like the "after" of the weed addict when some of my fishing sessions are done.:ROFL:
