S.W.A.T. Three Months Compilation Report - Closing Out 2014 with a Personal Best!

I hope everybody had a nice Christmas and wishing all of you a great New Year. :Big Grin:

I've been pretty crazy busy with work during the Holiday Season and only hit the surf maybe 3 or 4 times in the past 3 months or so...
Haven't had much time to fish let alone put up a report. So here's a compilation report of my last 3 or so trips to the surf with friends...
I also included a few pics of my family Christmas celebration to share with all of you. :Razz:

Nothing significant as far as catches go... all of my sessions only lasted a couple of hours with the exception of yesterday's outing to Santa Barbara which yielded my Personal Best Barred Surf Perch. :Dancing Banana:

Final surf session of the year. Sunday 12/28/14.

I told Mikey (Exfactor) that I was driving up to Santa Barbara on Sunday (yesterday) to fish with him and try one last time this year to get my PB 16" Surf Perch.
Binh (BadBeat) will join us for the long outing.

Absolute Pig Perch fest... we caught so many we lost count. Many 12", 13" & 14" Perch, a half dozen 15"+ models and Mike and I both got a 16" Perch. :Thumbs Up:
Many, many double hook ups... insane action.

The quest for the 16 inch BSP has been long overdue. On several occasions, I got pretty close with a 15.5" & 15.75" fish, but never a 16 incher... finally! :Razz:

It only took a total of 8 miles on foot on Sunday to do it... :Shocked:
Yes, you read it right... 8 miles! :Surprised:

Thanks again for spending some quality time with me Binh and Arthur, this old body of mine still thinks like an 18 year old, and I was a hurtin puppy today from that excursion. Its definitely the SWAT iron man challenge for me anymore, although the rewards more then make up for the endeavor. I'm so stoked for you to finally find that elusive 16, and glad I managed another one finally this year. Its makes me feel good to see the young guys tired from it too. Just got the text. Congratulations on leaving 15" piggy purgatory and entering into 16" ... heaven??? Well, way to cap out 2014 with another PB (and for one you've wanted to break for a while).

I know how busy you've been. I trust that next year will be a bit kinder to you in terms of spending time with friends and family cuz I know that's your heart and it's God's desire for you too! I look forward to finally getting even a little bit of time with you on the beach in 2015 (as so many of your friends do - your gunna need to have a personal scheduler I think to get us all in HAHA).

All I have to say is WOW....What a great compilation my friend. You might not have put up many reports in 2014 but we all know that this past year you had so much on your plate with work and family.
You sure got a lot of wild and screwy pics of me in there buddy. Kinda makes me feel "Special in a Hellooooooo sorta way" :ROFL:
