Cousin caught 4 trout in about 3 hours before my food poisoning made it unbearable to fish. The winds were quite a ***** as well, 15-20MPH, overall though Prado Lake was way better then I expected, great first time experience.

Prado seems to fish better in the wind for some reason. Were you guys in a boat or shore fishing? Thank you for reporting.

Usually there are strong winds at Prado between 11am-2pm.

We were shore fishing as were the majority of the fishermen that day. Real nice place to fish.
