I live on the canal in naples and recenty got a kayak and have been fishing out in the bay. So far I've just been bouncing plastic stuff off the bottom and have caught mostly perch/croaker type fish and a couple short halis. I'm looking for some pointers on how to fish the area from some of the vets or maybe a couple of hotspots I could get to. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Areas that have worked for me as a kayaker
1. 2nd street bridge (the big one)
2. docks over by Joes crab shack
3. Inlet to the ocean from (the yacht club to the rocks)
4. 72 nd pl
5. Open bay by the gonodlas/ basketball courts
This is a great fishing website.
