Yesterdays report. Arrived at the gate around 6:32 am, 13 or 14 cars behind. Got to the water around 7:14. Fished the shore only (rocky edge where the beach fenced ends)entire morning dead. Till 12:57pm. First kitty on the stringer. Skunk off. 12:59 pm bendo, drag screamin, a glimps of its dorsal fin, My cousins scream "big cat", it zipped towards the red bouy, got caught underneath. Seconds later it freed itself. Jumped in the water, tried to net it. Struggling abit till, someone from the beach saw the entire thing happening and came over to help(thanks man really appreciate it). At 1:07, the beast was slayed. PB dd striper to end the year. Coming in at 18 lbs. Caught it off 3 inch chunks of mackeral on C-rig...

That's a nice fish..my son and I r going there tomorrow..he caught one almost that big last time we were there...congrats

That's a monster...I'll bet it was a great fight from shore...

Thanks. It was actually quick. Was expecting a longer fight, the 6 lb line got caught under the bouy...thought it game over from there.
