Not real up to posting but here goes. Me and a buddy hit the hwy for a road trip to Emma Wood last Weds. Had a great morning throwing flies. We were doing so well we had campers watching and wooting us when we brought in the biggies.
Here is one pix

Hi jpfromoc:

Good work spanking those E.W. Piggies and on the fly too. It's great to catch fish but it's even more fun when you get to do it in front of an audience:EyePop:

Thanks for the report.

Very cool! I'm tempted to break out the fly rod this winter for perch when the flattie bite starts to fall. Only tried it once with no luck but it looks like fun times when the fish are chewin!

Good times!

Nice report...Love the stripping basket!
I also have been tempted to break out my 6w for the perch but to be honest my old wrist and rotator cuff will scream loud and clear in about an hour....LOL
So.....I'm sticking with the simple wrist flip with the UL spinning gear for now.
Thanks for the northern report.

That's a nice stretch of beach. :Big Grin:
I haven't picked up my fly rod in ages... might dust it off soon.
