Delta Baggage Handlers will give you goose bumps and/or tears! Recorded at DFW International Airport. As you watch the video, notice the number of people watching from inside the terminal.

Most people have no idea Delta does this.

This soldier was a K9 soldier with a dog trained to find IED's. Yes, the second small coffin is the soldier’s K9 partner. Hats off to Delta.

Very impressive...I fly at least once a week and had no idea they did that either. I'm curious though, if they showed the same amount of respect in other states as they did in Texas. Regardless, very touching. Thanks for sharing Dev... Now I wish I could switch my A-List Preferred status from Southwest over to Delta haha

Happy Holidays everyone!!

What a wonderful thing to do for both the family and the airline employees. Several of the airlines have employee honor guards and all seem to show great respect for our fallen. Delta's attention to detail was magnificent (although their pilots didn't render a salute like the soldiers did but walked by. Not disrespect intended...I am sure they were not ex military.

I was on one of those flights before. There is always a uniformed escort aboard. On the flight I was on the flight attendant made an announcement asking everyone to remain seated until the escort had deplaned. Then she advised us where could stand in the terminal to observe the ceremony that was just shown here. I found myself saluting with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. I am pretty sure that flight was Delta as well. It must have been the final stop, because what I assumed were family members and a hearse were there to meet the plane.

It has taken me at least 10 minutes to clear my eyes before I could see the keyboard to type this...........
What a wonderful tribute to the fallen soldier and his dog. Kudos to Delta and their staff.
May God bring or service men and women home safely.
Thank all who have served and continue to serve.
