Boat launch alert!

Just got a call from Shanon at Skinner. The boat dock/ramp will be getting some repair work on Tuesday 11/25 so there will be no private boat launching on that day. Rentals and shore fishing will still be going on though.

Can you ask them to put the launch ramp docks in the water?

Why don't they use ramp 2 or is that high and dry?

Ramp 2 has been out of water for a long time.

When I got off the water on Saturday, the ranger I forget her name (not Shannon), said there were having contractors brought in to lower the docks at ramp 1 further into the lake. For some reason the rangers are not allowed to mess with the docks and have to hire outside services.

Thank you I have never been there but was hoping to get my son to go there with me as I have been sick for a few months and I just want to get on the water.
