Fishing is picking up and water level is rising. Water Temp was 65 and The troll bite I would rate very good for us anyways. Limited out in 3 hours. Big for me was 3.95 . Lots of browns caught as well.
Shimano Pro Staff member Scott Noseworthy aka Bring it aka Roosters Friend :Envious: Caught the fish of a lifetime on a day when he CAN NOT win anything! Scott Noseworthy pro staff for Shimano and G Loomis checks in this AMAZING 8.85lb Brown Trout he caught while fishing a Trout King mini jig in the Goby pattern at the West Shore.

Oh crap! Teach me not to enter the tournaments. Big for us for the day was a 5.12 on the troll but that was after the tourney, earlier though we had 2 fish that would have been in the money.

Oh well more fun to fish and drink when at Irvine than get all serious about tournaments.

Although not wide open all fish caught were big for us. Got hammered on the troll on a brook trout rapala pattern multiple times along with the big fish also back in Sierra Cove pulled out a couple nice ones including 2 10lbs class catfish on Thomas Bouyants, yup cats on Bouyants. Thought I was at Silverwood, saw bait jumping back in the corner tossed the lure in and back to back 10lb class cats. Fun weekend till we woke up Sunday morning to 40 mph winds and a dust storm decided against tubing that day.
