Alabama Rig Legal ??

I have a question for the Hard core Bass guys
Since the lake Level has gone down i have found 4 Alabama Rigs. As the water recedes you find lost reels rods chairs and even Lures
Some Nice Big Swim Baits Also

All 4 Alabama Rigs had 5 Baits on them??

Why would people be using 5 lures?...all have hooks
I thought 3 was the Limit. I know once your in the boat No one see what your up too
This must be Normal ?
Is it Legal ?

all 5 had hooks

well I have 4 nice Alabama rigs. Might use them trolling for Stripers soon...with Just 3 hooks
Amazing the Sins that are revealed when the water recedes..... along with all the Beer cans and trash

I have also also found bama rigs around the lake . But all have been legal . No swimbaits though

Yep its 3 hooks only.... we can have as many "dummy rigs" (no hooks) as we want but only 3 can have hooks... I hate that guys are either knowingly using illegal rigs or are uninformed....both are bad in my book. All we can do is educate the uninformed and look down on the cheats and hope they wisen up before they get caught...
As far as the lost rods and swimbaits... Ive lost a Dobyns rod and also a slideswimmer into Perris...ugggg.... thanks for reminding me!!!

most reels are completely ruined.. for some reason you don't find many rods. It is like the reel seat rot away and only the reel is left

Yes the center ramp is open. looks like you will be able to launch for another 7-9 ft vertical drawdown
the water went down about 9" the last 2 days
