Heading up for my buddies 30th birthday..

I have a few hours each day to fish before snowboarding and was hoping you guys could give me recommendations on where to go :Big Grin:

I will be taking ultra light tackle in hopes of hooking up with trout.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I just got home from Mammoth and fishing is really good. The only problem is the gate is closed at the Twin Lakes. Kinda makes for a bit of a walk to Lake Mary and Mamie, but worth the effort. Got 2 fish in the 4 pound range and saw people with nice stringers on the way out. I've never seen so many fish walking the trail at Convict! Got another 5 pound Alper, and saw many big fish on stringers. Every group at the back of the lake on the South side had big fish. Season ends Saturday, have a blast! (There's some snow on the mountain, but I think it will be the man made stuff until we get another storm.)

You.. Got me all excited.
Thanks for the heads up!
Is twin worth fishing? I wanted to hike into tj as a priority.

Hopefully my spoon arsenal will work out.
