Does anyone know if the lake is being stocked with trout this year? I couldn't find anything on dfg website that said one way or the other.

I'm not sure, but I thought that DFW stopped stocking Fairmount due to possible environmental impacts such as trout escaping to the SA River and eating all the endangered SA Suckers. I may be wrong though.

Yeah, put those little trout in there to feed my bass! I don't think they stocked trout last year, did they?

No, they did not. Despite how far fetched it may sound, GhettoBasser is correct. They really believe stocked trout would survive a trip through the ditch, swamp, and then into the not-so-cold shallow waters of the Santa Ana to terrorize the sucker population. Go figure.
Don't worry though! You can always go to another popular city park down the road-Seccombe! smirk.
