Taft mission 11/8

After having a burning desire to fish the duct, I did it today. While I didn't catch what I set out for, it's all good cause I avoided the dreaded skunk. Not by much I will note, 3 lmb that were roughly a pound apiece. But 3 fish none the less. 2 were caught on LC 112 shell white and the other was on a LC 127 American shad. No love on white flukes on a 3\4 head or on lippless cranks. Even threw a shell cracker and a 8" lbsb hoping for a beast. Oh well, the flame will burn strong until next week. I got the fever I think :Twisted:

Flukes haven't been working for me.... DK has been getting them. Stick with the LC.


Hit multiple spots. Fish are wolf packed and you never now where they are.


You have to have the mindset of the fish are biting somewhere... I have to find them

Thanks cutbait. We hit one gate where the water seemed to be moving. And two siphons, I guess they are. Water didn't seem to moving at these siphon locations. Thanks for the insight, more run and gun.
