View Full Version : Awesome day 11/8

At the risk of flooding the lake with pressure, the fishing at San antonio today was EPIC. The day started off slow with only two fish and a couple hits before 10:30. Then at 10:30 the light switched turned on. From 10:30 to 1:15 we landed 17 more fish, had a couple break off and had at least that many hits. One double, both landed and what should have been a triple with only one landed. We only kept 8 and released all the rest off the side of the boat.

I'm pretty safe until it fills up a little. It is not easy to get onto the lake right now! That being said, there was a group of 5 guys that had fished full moon all night pulling in when we were heading out and they only had one fish to show for it, so we must have been doing something right!

Nice job getting some fish.
Is it still called a "stringer" when you are using rope?!?

Haha, would you trust close to 100 lbs of fish to a piece of twine :) plus having to hoist them into the boat
