Castaic Striper Pre Work Action

[Fishbones]

I had the pleasure of being invited for some morning time striper fishing with good buddy Ron aka Fishinone. I have to say fishing in the morning before work has made my day so much nicer even the boss commented saying you're more happy then normal. We found scattered single boils off points and in coves producing a few nice fish for us and off the water by 8:30-9:am is even better with no lake lice in sight yet just the occasional rude wake making bass guy either getting to close or cutting between us while fishing as we just shook our heads.

Nice set of fish there. That would be so great to be able to fish before work without being a couple hours late.

My fish were donated to needy family's and neighbors so no cleaning for me. Just kept them on ice.

Stckboy, I'm not fishbones butI think I'll answer your question. We were fishing flukes on 3/4 or 1 oz jig heads.
