Not many reports because not much going on catch wise!
Beautiful warm day. Fished West shore for one bite ... Hard running...big fish, but got unbuttoned!
Most Trollers picked up 1 or 2, same for the shore fishermen if that.
I followed Steve Carson's advice on the bait and short leaders, changed baits/lures and colors all day long, but got my first skunk as far as I remember.
Check that...had an accidental hookup with a grebe. Safely (for the both of us) released.
Trollers report a lot of fish on the fish finders, but they apparently still have lock jaw.
Sooner or later they have to feed. Sure would like to be there when they do!
Hopefully for you guys it's this weekend!
