Went out with brotherbaits Friday looking for a cast and blast trip. Hit the duct at grey light then call some yotes.
Fishing was good. BB lost a 5 lber bringing it up. As soon as our shad hit the bottom it was picked up. The bait had to be alive. Caught some on flukes, LC, imitation baits fish, but mostly live stuff.
Saw one boil!
Went coyote calling and called in yotes on the first two sstands. I was trying to be superman on the first stand and was overaanxious I guess and missed one. Second one turned to dust. By this time it was mid day and you know how that goes

His back is fine for now. He just turned 63 and could really go at any moment. All of us mutual friends are trying to get him out and about as much as possible. Trying to keep him active. Ya know?
He really does keep making comments though when I tell him your trips to the Delta and Donalds to Millerton and Oniel.. he keeps asking why no one invites him. Says he is always game.
