Im gonna be flyfishing the duct next week. Ill def have a report. Anybody on here flyfish the duct before? Anybody have any tips??? Im just going to strip a big clouser minnow, figure that will get hit.

dont bring your 5wt to this show bro. this is a minimum a 7wt situation and id even suggest stringing your stick up with a shooting head system or, my favorite streamer line, a wulf ambush line paired with a short added sink tip like, the best is a 7 foot 7ips versileader. it will work on any weight rod above a 5wt. you will be casting all friggin day so the ease afforded by a shooting line (not a spey or skagit line mind you) will really help. add about 3 feet of 12lb fluorocarbon and start chucking big flys. the beauty of the sink tip means you can toss those big clousers and those easy to cast deceiver type flys.
