pyramid dd striper

So my son and I decided to go fishing this morning at castaic. Well when we got there at 7 it was kinda windy so we grabbed breakfast at McDonald's and headed to pyramid. We got there and it was a little windy but less than castaic. We went to the left of the launch ramp and soaked some bait..my son baited his pole with frozen shad from gallions..ten minutes later I see the tip of his pole dancing and he sets the hook and pulls in a catfish..no other bites after that so we moved down by the rocks.. we baited our poles with more shad and then 20 minutes later his pole goes bendo and to my surprise it was a huge striper.didn't get exact weight but at least 10...didn't get any more bites after that and it was kinda windy so we called it a day around 2..we did manage to see sum small boils by the swim beach but no takers..thanks for reading
