Anti Gun Senator caught packing at Feguson. :Beer Toast: :Death2Above:
Missouri State Senator Who Sponsored Anti-Gun Bills Gets Arrested In Highly Ironic Situation

While protesting in the street outside the police department in Ferguson, Missouri, on Monday night, state Senator Jamilah Nasheed was arrested. But it’s the rest of the story that’s newsworthy.
Nasheed, who has sponsored several anti-gun bills in the state legislature, was packing heat at the time. And she was allegedly intoxicated, as well.
As reported by KMOV-TV:
Nasheed was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun and extra rounds of ammunition, according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson. She also refused to take a breathalyzer test after officers determined she “smelled strongly of intoxicants.” :Beer Toast:
The Senator, who said she is a legal concealed-carrier, was walking with other protesters when she ignored police orders to get out of the street.
She later explained that her arrest was “symbolic,” and meant to send a “message to the protesters that we can protest peacefully and that we must protest peacefully and that we want justice for Michael Brown.”
Setting aside Nasheed’s definition of “justice” as it relates to the Ferguson shooting, we have an anti-gun advocate, carrying a loaded weapon, ignoring police orders, while “under the influence.” Nothing wrong here at all, right?
