Well folks,
fished the drop shots for two immediate hits. That produced one 16 incher. nice, not bad. Second cast, got a hit five feet in front of me, i was ankle deep, good strong hit, but it unbuttoned.
Fished the hardbait for a small 12 incher and figured the bite shut down since the surf just got worse, and visibility went to the hole. I ended up talking to another fisherman who was out for the beans when i get SLAMMED. What do you know, 22 inches, just barely.
All fish were released
Probably going out soon, will post a report soon.
