After Market Rod Storage

Anyone got any suggestions for after market storage for poles? Got a z6, and looking to improve the storage on it (currently rods are in rod socks, but its messy). Or any tips on making one would be good too.

Here are pics of my factory installed rod holders in my BassCat.

The tubes in the front are actually golf bag tubes and the rubber grommets in the rear and cockpit can be bought from BassCat parts store.

Make it in plywood and cover it with carpet and drill and insert tubes/grommets.

Thanks Devo, much appreciated. That's given me an idea for some plywood, plastic tubing and some carpet tiles and some glue. Can't say its going to be super pretty, but should work and look ok.

The guy I bought my boat from added just what you're talking about doing. He used plywood and the tubes used in golf bags. On the other end of the box, he screwed in 2 straight 2x2's to balance the butt of the rods on. That was for the bait casters. In the other rod box he used larger PVC pipe so spinning rods would fit. I can keep 7 rods in each side. Good Luck
