Let's just say weathermen miss all the time. No weatherman can claim 100% accuracy. The Kelvin wave is a key factor, you can do the research if you'd like I wouldn't want to confuse City Dad any further.

I am a weather nut and follow many different sources I have found the Dweeber's site to be very informative and usually he will put up a disclaimer when his forecasts are more speculation and discussion.

If you want a forecast for the Sierra's there is no better source!

And as far as the boils? Please make sure you send good prayers my way so that the fall Drake hatch in Yellowstone coincides with my arrival there on Sunday night. The only boils I'll be tending to are the ones on my feet because I hiked too far.

Well seal, anyone who fishes salt or surfs can tell you we indeed are experiencing El Nino. The Blue fin, Yellow tail, and Dorado bite is off the charts and we even had a Wahoo caught off Balboa. I've lived in Cali all my life and know that this type of "weather" we are having is a classic El Nino pattern with the heavier than normal summer rains, warm ocean water and killer south swells. But hey, those government Yahoo's want to downplay El Nino because they want to blame this "crazy" weather on "climate change" and the El Nino is the inconvenient truth, no?. After all Obozo wants to sign off on the UN's climate change mandates without congressional approval and far too many a**clowns will go along with it. As far as all the other things mentioned?
