haven't posted any surf fishing reports lately because ive been spending all my time on my kayak after i caught my 34"butt from the surf. Went to newport for an evening bass session. Was throwing around a slayer head with 4" red calico hunter BH. Red calico hunter is my go to color it really produces for me. Caught about 4 spotties then i hook onto a surprise halibut. After a quick fight i landed a 23" butt, my first legal on my kayak. tight lines everyone
