Tonight was the Last Chance Qualifier Tournament and as promised it was a shoot out. Very warm weather and a small fire that burned 12 miles from the lake did little to damper the fishing as anglers found the fish to be biting from literally one end of the lake to the other. Fishing an oily bait such as bonita or skipjack defintley upped your odds of getting the better fish and a lot of salt guys placed in the top 10 using the aftermetioned baits. You can see from the results the bigger fish are defintley starting to stir around. If you are planning a trip to the lake in the next two months make sure you bring a BIG net because the TITANS are going on the chew soon.
