I've been wanting to hit the 2nd half of the day rather than the first like I usually do so I headed out to Perris to give it a shot. So glad I did. Hit the water at about 5:30, fished a little and picked up a few littles. Circled back to pick up a friend at the launch at 6:30 and back out. Decided to cruise over to the dam. So glad I did because I picked up a decent one. And of course, my damn scale wouldn't turn on (dead batteries I guess). Fished through sunset and motored back to the launch under a near full moon. Last boat off the water. A great end to the weekend!
