1981 Hydra Sports bass boat with single axle trailer for sale. 16'0" feet long. Outboard is a Mercury 115HP 2-cycle inline 6cyl "Tower of power". Runs strong. Fuel tank approx 18 gallons.
Has a live well. Bilge and aerator pumps work great. Comes with 2 drain plugs.
I bought the boat from Richard's Boat Center in Lancaster, CA back in 2008. I have done tons of upgrades to this boat since I got it. Replaced all seats and carpet including carpet inside storage compartments, fabricated new compartment lids using marine grade plywood, all new wood was coated with sealant, installed new T-handle lid latches, repainted top cap with Interlux Top-Lac, recessed trolling motor foot pedal on front casting deck, new Minn Kota Maxxum 55lb 12v trolling motor and wiring, 2 Humminbird sonar units and transducers: 565 b&w up front and a color 797c2 side imaging + navigation at helm, ProMariner pro sport 12 on board charger (2 bank), new GT steering wheel, brand new gauges (tach, speedo & fuel level), also battery voltage gauge up front, new fuse panel with pump/light switches, working horn, 2 BRAND NEW batteries purchased from WalMart 3/2014, new spark plugs, fuel filter, engine fuel connector, priming bulb, fuel pump recently rebuilt, water impeller and gaskets changed early this year, lower unit lube changed, on board fire extinguisher, brand new Harbor Master 600 denier polyester boat cover, all trailer lights working, new 4-flat connector, new safety chain, master lock on tongue. Registration is current and title in hand for boat and trailer. Lots of extras included: Oar, safety flag, 3 PFDs, spare gaskets, grease gun w/grease for hubs, earmuffs, anchor with rope, dock line, dock bumper, extra Interlux Pre-Kote & Top Lac touch up paint, 1.5 quarts Mercury synthetic 2-cycle plus oil, 1/2 quart gear lube, gear lube pump, Quicksilver 2-4-C marine lube, small bottle of Phillips electronics cleaner, Scotchguard marine liquid wax, bottle of Sta-bil marine formula fuel stabilizer/ethanol treatment, roll of extra marine carpet, maps of several local lakes.
The floor board is starting to develop a weak spot in a vary small area and may need minor fiberglass repair. Not a huge deal. Still completely fishable as it sits. I am moving out of state soon and really can't take it with me so my loss is your gain. Boat has been to Castaic, Piru and Pyramid. Handles rough water fairly well.
Great rig for new or seasoned bass fisherman. Trailers easily.
