Went to Irvine with my buddy. There was some woodstock event so nobody was on the lake! It was awesome. Putted around the lake from 5-8pm then settled in by Santiago flats. Using cut mackerel size 1 hooks, 10lb test. We caught 11, threw back 2, had multiple bites come off the line. The biggest one was probably around 5lbs, all were pretty big, no dinky 1-2 lbers. Not a bad day! Took them home got the plastic out and cut em up. It's weird how the catfish are still alive after driving an hour to get home! 44882
