8/25 Lake Perris Afternoon/Evening Bite w/ Cobra Kayaks

Another Day @ Lake Perris

So, I finally got my dad to be excited enough to go to Lake Perris with me.
We got there a little late cause I had to take care of some college mumbo jumbo. But, that did not stop me!

So, we arrive around 2:00p.m to Sail Cove with our cobra fish'n dive kayaks and then we prep.

I go ahead and start out the day fishing with a drop shot rig with a robo worm along side the dam.
Nothing!

Hours go by and my dad and I have caught 0 fish.
The usual when u fish in mid day.

Then my dad and I go back at the edge of the dam again and start drift fishing(Cause it was very windy) around 4:00p.m.

I get around to the first ramp and boom my pole slams. Drop Shot Rig with a Robo worm. It was a nice bass but I've done better. Sure put up a better fight then its size though hahaha. (Pic Below)

Well, and that just about does it.
Caught nothing else. I did have a couple bites but no hooks were set. My dad had none. He hasn't been fishing in a long time so he was a little rusty.
