First post and a PB

Hey guys im new to this forum im 15 and i live in the OC area. I do some fishing with my brother in law he introduced me to this forum his screen name is EfrenM some of you may alread know him. So we decided to hit our local beach today at about 445 am.We got our lc's ready and decided to go to the store and get some jigheads. Next to them ive always seen these berkley gulp saltwater swimbaits and decided to get some nuclear chicken color i saw. when i got them i was kind of joking around and got the 7 inch ones and told my brother in law go big or go home. so we started the morning throwing the lc for about an hour but nada. so we switched to the swimbaits we got and about 15 minutes later i got hammered at first i thought it was going to be a legal hali or a big calico but when i saw the silver back i got really excited and 5 min later landed this beauty...

after a quick pc i released this beauty to fight another day my estimate is tht it was about 19 to 21 inch.
