Been there but long gone. It was right next to Knott's Berry Farm, opened in 1953 a very different kind of place I loved it.44844 There was a Lion Farm in El monte too years ago but it was before my time.44845

I remember that place very well. I think it closed in the mid 70's.

Wow I had forgotten about that place.

Not to change the subject but during the early 1970's in Yucaipa, Ca was a business called "Fred's Frog Farm". This guy had started raising Bull Frogs for the commercial market and a friend who's father owned a fence company was hired to put a fence around the ponds. It seems that the Coyotes and Racoons were having a feast at night. Well he had literally 10's of thousands of Bull Frogs and Tadpoles and at night the sound of croaking was incredible to hear. Anyhow the business failed in time, I guess there wasn't enough Frenchies or Coonasses around to buy all of those frog legs being produced.

I do remember the Gator farm and also the Lion farm..guess that makes me Ancient ?
