Don't think so I have been checking it out. Just a normal rain fall for a few years might help us, lets hope.

Last year we had a series of high pressure that sat over the west deflecting any storms that came our way. If we have that occur again we are screwed.

El Nino is no guarantee just another factor. The warmer water off the coast I think is going to contribute to more systems like yesterdays, this time of the year hurricanes, tropical storms, can get pulled up north along the coast by splitting northerly systems. So what you may see is systems coming in from the southwest instead of traditional type monsoonal surges that come in from the south east, the monsoon should be on the decline but there are some predictions that a hurricane will get caught up and drawn north by months end.

Or it could be hot and dry, toss a coin.

From what I understand, weather forecasters have backed off the term HUGE El Nino and EPIC El Nino and have agreed that we have an 80% chance of a medium sized El Nino causing increased rainfall this fall and winter time.
