For sale is a JDM Shimano Ocea Jigger NR 2000P for $350, for this rare reel. This was intended to be a deep jigging reel for Japanese fisherman but I've used it to throw surface irons, yoyo, as well as live bait on it (caught some nice YFT and BFT this year with Megabait and Sardines). This has very similar specs as the Shimano Trinidad 16n, although I prefer the Japanese version. Looking to sell and get something bigger. 1. It has a lower gear ration (5:1) for greater cranking power, very nice for heavy jigs and fishing 20-25lb with live bait. Like all Shimano Trinidads this is very easy to cast and smooth....
2. It has "auto-trip" of the spool so that just a turn of the handle puts it in gear for quick response if your jig gets picked up on the way down.
This reel in great condition, 8.5/10 cosmetically with some boat rash on the side plate. 10/10 mechanical. Reel comes with 50lb 100yrds Daiwa samurai braid topped with 20lb big game line.
