He didn't pass away he committed suicide. He has battled substance abuse and depression for most of his adult life.

I usually don't give a damn when a celebrity dies but he was truly a special person and today is a sad day. Rest in peace Robin

Shazbot!!! The inner demons won this battle. Even with money, fame and power our inner demons can take us down if we let them. I have buried several friends and relatives that committed suicide and it always leaves the living with so many unanswered questions and guilt. RIP Robin and prayers to those you left behind.
