Wazzaaa my brothas. Thought I'd give a report. Haven't been ductin a whole lot, but managed to get out a few times. Fishing has been slow for me, but no skunk slow. Here are a few pics from the last time I went out. Havent hooked into any cats like cutbait, but its weird I have been seeing them real close to the surface. The day started off good with my biggest on a lipless crank.

Next two I got on the fluke.

Fun fishing, had to work for them though. Water was quite green and thick when I went out. PEACE

quick question to the pros. you guys ever tie braid directly to your lure, or do you use a leader? Everytime i've tied braid directly it slips

Use the Palomar knot. Never had a problem with it slipping

I run braid straight to all my pointers, top water :and traps.

No slips, no line change in years, no break offs.

Improved clinch knot. It does matter the quality of the braid

I used to run 30# braid on my reel but kept loosing lures ad is casted hard and birdcaged line would snap and lost a fee expensive lures. So if changed to regular line .
