View Full Version : 4lb'r on the owens- any Convict advise?
Hit this one on the upper owens on gulp and a small mesquito hook. Lots of fish, lots of heat and lots of bugs. My dad killed it, he has his and my brothers fish- he out did me again and threw tons back:oops: heading to Convict in late Oct for first time- and I need advice from the pro's so i can get my dad for once, ha ha! Anyone out there with the inside skinny on Convict?

I always thought the upper owens was artificial fly and barbless hook this time of year. Time to get one leg to check the rules.

if it was caught above the bridge, this time of the year you cannot keep fish over 16 inches as well...i think thats the regulation. nice fish though
cuaght the fish well below Brown's Town (far below the bridge) also, it took me a while to post the pics. GS. How do you guys fish Convict?
