To my delight there were only 2 or 3 boats in line this morning. Got right to the inlet and hit the in-flow for nada. I'm done with that for the day and started on LMB. Still very skittish with the clear, clear water. I finally found some nice models hiding deeeep in cover. Water is down some and 75* +-. Only like 5 boats hovering around the inlet area. You know Mr. Stripey. He'll be back soon enough. 44659

There's no doubt. Word gets around. Stripers are NOT fished out, just moved along to a new pattern. Now, all we have to do is find them........ Mwahahahah!

Yah Hawgz. After hitting mostly 1-2 pound fry guarders it's nice to find some pigs.

I hear ya. Seems DVL is stuck in that 1-3 1/2lb funk now too. Those big girls bury themselves back in that aquatic jungle smorgasbord and engorge themselves. That pig you're holding up is so fat she almost looks pre-spawn...

Nice fish PAW. We fished 4-close and landed a couple nice ones as well. There are some nice size fish on the prowl right now.

+1 Started fishing Skinner again recently and have caught several in the 4-6lb range that usually were in the "muck". Quite a few smaller ones coming out of the reeds. Just there on 23rd and could tell the water had dropped some from previous week.
